    helpful staff
    early check-in

It was just a fine choice for a weekend outing in Cork with value for money. The very helpful hotel staff allowed me to check in early, which was great since it was raining. Make sure to inquire about parking options before you arrive.

    misleading breakfast service

The newly refurbished rooms are centrally located and very comfortable.

The breakfast in bed option was misleading and required an upgrade that I wasn't informed about.

    fascinating legacy
    great staff
    memorable stay
    weak wifi signal

Had an amazing time with friends! We explored the Titanic Experience in Cobh and visited Blarney Castle and Gardens, truly experiencing everything this city has to offer. The hotel’s fascinating legacy made our stay memorable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that there’s only one lift, which can get a bit busy.

The only downside was the weak WiFi signal, which made it a bit tough to stay connected. Otherwise, our stay was fantastic!

My kids wished for more heating in the room. It got quite chilly at night, and it would have been great to have a warm room to relax in after our adventures.

A charming hotel with friendly staff and delicious food, though a lack of air conditioning made the warm nights uncomfortable. Some amenities need updating, and there were minor inconveniences like having to reserve breakfast. Overall, a pleasant stay in a great location.

We loved the comfortable double room and great location! The bar next door has fab traditional Irish music, and the wine bar nearby is good. Our stay was made even better when we received complimentary sandwiches to go for our train ride. Highly recommend!

The Metropole Hotel Cork exudes charming old-world elegance with beautifully decorated common areas, making it easily accessible for seniors. The staff were exceptionally helpful in providing necessary assistance, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
